OVERVIEW

BOOM is a biennial design competition presented by AIGA Raleigh and AIGA Charlotte. Designers from across North Carolina have the opportunity to enter their work, which is then judged by a nationally-recognized panel of design professionals. The winners are published in a commemorative book and celebrated at the Gala and Exhibition.

Reflecting the creative aspect of the competition and using the concept of growth led us to the idea of planting a seed. A growing seed references a process that is related to a creative process and to the different elements and stages of the competition.

Attention to detail and insistence on creating a high-quality competition process led to a record number of entrants and winners, which led to AIGA Raleigh raising more than twice the amount of profits from the previous six years.
